After the success of the Wölffer 139 brand across the East Coast, in 2018 Wölffer decided to add a canned variety to their range of ciders with a view to give the consumer a broader choice. We needed to ratain the core brand values and visual aesthetic in the new prodcut but at the same time we needed to differentiate. We kept some of the illustrated elements within the design but in a more scattergun approach and then added a candy stripe to make the cans really sing.
