About the project
Identity, exhibition graphics and wayfinding and marketing material for Joachim Koester's The Other SIde of the Sky exhibition at Margate's Turner Contemporary. The show features Koester’s works from the past 10 years, much of which had never been shown in the UK before. Embark on a psychological journey into Department of Abandoned Futures; watch dancers quiver as Koester reinterprets the cultural myth of Tarantism, the dancing cure practised by victims of tarantula bites to release venom from their bodies; delve into the artist’s obsessive documentation of ‘the alien’ in his Praying Mantis film and accompanying photographs.
